Learn ways to build upon your artistic talents from the beginner to the advanced student. This course will detail every aspect in creating a finished painting while further developing your own skills.
All areas of the painting process will be demonstrated and there will be individual guidance in a supportive atmosphere as students develop their unique artistic voice. From lighting, composition and types of canvas used to working with color, values and brushes. Instruction and critiques are given every day covering information on every phase of a painting. My teaching is designed to help artists improve their ability to express themselves and enable them to grow with greater artistic quality and confidence.
Since this is an evening class we will be working from still-life, photos or even a mirror for self portraits (we will spend time on how to paint from a photo). Regardless of your stage of development, you will be able to work at your own pace.
The course will also include a demonstration which will be held during the first session.
